In my part of the world, the darkness of the days is getting longer. If I was looking for my hope in daylight, I would be sorely disappointed. In fact, looking to anything else other than Jesus for my hope will be unfulfilling. There are difficult and dark days, but knowing that God is the giver of all good gifts gives me the hope and assurance that He cares for me.
PrayerPoints is typically a Lenten project and a chronicle of God working on my heart and mind. It is always a process. God is always teaching me!
I am American born with Hungarian blood. I make plenty of mistakes but I am forgiven. Each day is an adventure.

Remember that the sun setting early indicates rest and renewal for the plants and some invertebrates we rely on. Without darkness they cannot rejuvenate for next Spring and Summer. We need them. They need darkness and good leaf cover to provide for next Spring, Summer. Leaf cover provides for birds through the Winter for food sources. This is all a cycle, just as God designed it to be.
