Sometimes we have been hurt enough that our hearts just can’t easily accept something pure and beautiful. And we spend a lot of time slowly checking out whether that thing that seems to be too-good-to-be-true really is. Did He really? Is it for me?
Does the God of the Universe love me and you? Does He love us so much He created a way for us to be in fellowship with Him forever?
Here we are, at the cusp of another Easter where the reality of the cross and the empty tomb are discussed and displayed and demonstrated. Who do you say He is?
I am praying with each Easter the significance of all the events up until now continue to make an impact on your faith. That everything culminates in a deeper, unwavering faith in an incredible God whose love knows no bounds, whose gifts know no end, whose mercies are new every morning, who gives us grace upon grace.
Until we are able to embrace God’s love for us it is very difficult to love one another.
May you see and know and trust God and his good gifts today!
