Lenten PrayerPoint Project

The opportunity to pray for others is a huge privilege and it is easy to get so caught up in the details of my needs and my situation that I sometimes forget to think about and pray for others. For the 40 days of Lent I will be more intentional about lifting others in prayer so this year I am doing something a little different with PrayerPoints.

For each of the forty days I will pray for one person who requests prayer. If you want me to pray for you send me a message via email, text or through Facebook. In the message you can give me 3 topics to pray over for you but you don’t have to because there are many things that one can pray over a person without any idea about their specific needs. If you want to go into more detail about those prayer requests you can. You can also request prayer for someone other than yourself.

If you ask for prayer with no details, these will be the things I pray for you: a deeper walk with our Gracious and Loving Father; physical, emotional, spiritual, relational and financial health; a healthy church home; ease in learning new concepts at work and school; and healthy Christians to walk alongside you and encourage you.

The day I am praying for you I will send you a message just to let you know!

Blessings on your Lenten journey!

~ Liz

  2. Liz, Please pray for Randy’s dad, Leroy (He has been in the hospital for a week due to complications from his cancer treatment and pneumonia): 1. Gain enough strength so he can do daily tasks without assistance. 2. His appetite returns so he can eat enough to gain weight. 3. Wisdom in making decisions related to future care. Thank you so much for praying! Brenda Nugteren

  3. Hi LizIt is said that whenever advancing His kingdom you leave yourself open to spiritual attack.  While you are praying for others Clarice and I would like to be your armor bearers and pray that you do not come under fire during this time. ~Cindy

  4. Hi Liz,
I would feel very honored to have to you lift up prayers for me and my family. This is a big transition summer with Ben and Rachel as they both graduate from college. Pray for Rachel as she has designated for a call to Living Word High School in Jackson, WI. She visited and just loves it. She would be two hours north of Luke and Beth. Pretty cool! Also her future relationship with Josh Ralston who is going to Fort Wayne Seminary in the fall. Ben would love a teaching job in the Flathead Valley and so would Mark and I! Coaching basketball and track would be awesome too. Also for God to send his future wife to him soon. Praises for Luke and Beth and James doing super good! Mark and I are doing good too. Prayers for more joy in our marriage. Thanks so much! You have been such a faithful prayer warrior! Love and prayers to you too! Joann
