The depths of my heart

I have been reckless and destructive. I have lashed out and my words and actions have taken a toll on others.

And yet …

… He loves me.

And just as importantly, He loves YOU!

The amazing list of emotions that come from the depths of my heart: anguish, deep love, anger, compassion, justification, passion … the list goes on and on. And, once again, the knowing that He knows me just blows me away.

I am so thankful for His love and grace and provision.

  1. I am thankful for all of the same!
    The character and nature of God… His very existence… is love. “I am love.” For Him to cease to love us because of our frailties and failures would mean that He would have to become like us. He would have to become unlove at times. Thanks be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, He changes not!
