Mommas and babies

God designed His creation to carry on through husbands and wives having babies. In a perfect world, it would happen perfectly. But, here we are, in a very imperfect world.

Wrap your loving arms around each family expecting a baby. Protect all “secret places” and help the moms and dads as they prepare their hearts for new life in their family.

For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:13-16

I have a sweet friend who is experiencing a bit of complications during her pregnancy, so please pray for her and their little one. Calm her fears and anxious thoughts. Help her medical advice to be on target. Help her to not push the limits on what she is allowed to do. I am also praying with a grandma who is awaiting three more grandbabies. We might as well pray for safe growing for all babies — even though God has provided a wonderful safe place for growing, man has dropped the ball in protecting this place.
